The 5th annual Jefferson City Community Symphonic Band Memorial Day concert will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at First Christian Church, 327 Capitol Ave.
The free performance will honor veterans from the five branches of the armed forces.
Pieces will include "The Armed Forces Salute," "Stars and Stripes Forever," "Crown Imperial," a tribute to Arlington National Cemetery, a tribute to the U.S. Navy, "Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral," and a tribute to western migration.
This is the final formal concert for the 50-member ensemble. However, they will be part of Independence Day activities.
