WESTPHALIA, Mo. - The top-ranked team in Class 5 took it to the No. 1 team in Class 3 on Tuesday, as the Rock Bridge Bruins beat the Fatima Comets 14-4 in five innings.
Logan Vogel went 2-for-2 with a pair of solo home runs for the Comets, while Sam Hager and Hunter Hennier were both 2-for-3.
Alex Dickneite took the loss, giving up 10 runs (nine earned) on nine hits while striking out one in three innings.
Fatima (15-7) will play at Fulton today against the Hornets in the rain-delayed third-place game of the Fulton Tournament.
