QUINCY, Ill. - Sarah Luebbert scored two goals Thursday to lead the Jefferson City Lady Jays to a 3-0 win against the Quincy Blue Devils.
Eden Hoogveld had the other goal for the Lady Jays. It was unassisted. Kaley Ruff assisted on one of Luebbert's goals.
Megan Foster and Becca Sturgess shared time in goal in the shutout for Jefferson City.
There were two 30-minute lightning delays in the contest.
Jefferson City (13-4-3, ranked No. 8 in Class 4) is scheduled to play today at Waynesville.
Thursday's JV game between Jefferson City and Quincy ended scoreless after one half of play.
