Woman charged with robbery attempt

A Jefferson City woman has been charged with attempted robbery for an incident that occurred Wednesday morning.

Hannah Prucha, 35, threatened to shoot a man in the parking lot of 711 Madison St., holding a loaded semi-automatic handgun in her hand and demanding the victim give her cash.

The victim said Purcha kept yelling, "I'm gonna do him right now."

The victim said another subject grabbed the gun out of Purcha's hand and said "Why, so everyone can see you?"

When located by police, she told officers the victim owed her money and she pulled the gun out after the victim hit her.

Purcha has two prior felony arrests, but no felony convictions. She also has several arrests and convictions involving narcotics. She also told authorities she would physically harm the victim if and when she's released from custody.
