Baseball: Blair Oaks 13, North Callaway 1

AUXVASSE - The Blair Oaks Falcons scored multiple runs in three innings Monday on their way to a 13-1 victory against the North Callaway Thunderbirds shortened to five innings by the run rule.

Blair Oaks scored a run in the first, then added four in the second. The Falcons blew the game open with five runs in the third before scoring three runs in the fourth to make it 13-0. North Callaway scored its run in the bottom of the fifth.

Jordan Hair and Dylan Hoelscher had two hits for Blair Oaks, which finished with 11 hits in the contest. Hair and Hoelscher both scored three times. Dalton Fifer and Brent Heckemeyer had two RBI each for the Falcons.

Ryan Paschal went the distance to get the win. He allowed two hits and three walks while striking out six.

Blair Oaks (4-3) will play host to Versailles on Thursday.

In Monday's JV game, Blair Oaks scored five runs in the third and seven in the fourth to take a 12-0 win against North Callaway. Adam Schell had three hits for the falcons, while Cole Stockman had two. Garrett Welschmeyer, who homered, and Stockman drove in three runs each, while Treavor Woehr had two RBI.

Thomas Verslues was the winning pitcher, giving up one hit and one walk.
