SEC moves up start times at women's tournament

Missouri game to begin at 5 p.m. today

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Southeastern Conference is moving up start times for a second straight day at its women's basketball tournament as a winter storm continues to bear down on central Arkansas.

The league said evening games today between Missouri and Georgia, as well as Vanderbilt against No. 12 Kentucky, will begin at 5 p.m. CST.

The original schedule called for a break after the first two games of the day, with the evening session beginning at 6 p.m.

Arkansas and Mississippi open play at noon today at noon, followed by Auburn against No. 18 Texas A&M.
