Man to stay on billboard until murder-free week

ST. LOUIS (AP) - A man says he plans to live on top of a St. Louis billboard until the city can go seven days without a homicide.

Daniel "Boone" Fuller told KTVI-TV (http://bit.ly/1dkMD81) that the goal is to raise awareness in an effort to stop the violence that is plaguing St. Louis, where the number of homicides rose last year. The city is on pace for an even higher number in 2015.

Fuller works with billboards, saying he has built, painted or posted on around 600 billboards in the region, including many in high-crime areas. He has not yet announced the billboard where he will live, but plans to do so by the end of the month.
