Franks ties for 63rd at Tournament of Champions

SUNRIVER, Ore. - Kory Franks tied for 63rd in the American Junior Golf Association's 38th Annual Rolex Tournament of Champions.

Franks, a recent graduate of Blair Oaks High School who will play for Missouri State University starting in the fall, posted a three-day total of 14-over 230 on the par-72 layout at the Crosswater Course at Sunriver Resort.

After shooting his best round of the event with a 75 on Tuesday, Franks followed that up with a 77 on Wednesday and finished with a 78 on Thursday.

The tournament, which features 144 of the world's best junior golfers, had a cut line of the top 39 and ties, with those players advancing to one more round today.

The list of past champions at the T of C includes three-time winner Phil Mickelson, David Duval, Charles Howell III and Webb Simpson.
