O'FALLON, Mo. -- The New Bloomfield Wildcats advanced to the Class 2 state title game with a 15-2 victory over Norwood in five innings on Wednesday night.
The Wildcats (17-9) will play the Valle Catholic Warriors (29-5) at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the baseball championship.
Valle Catholic defeated West Platte (19-6) by 11-1 in six innings in Wednesday's first Class 2 semifinal game.
