ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Cardinals players arrived Monday to un-air conditioned Busch Stadium.
The problem was fixed by mid-afternoon, several hours before a game against the Cincinnati Reds. Manager Mike Matheny downplayed the situation, noting he grew up without air conditioning.
Matheny joked his wife sets the thermostat at "about 47 degrees" and he thought they were "trying to raise penguins."
