CALIFORNIA - The California Pintos improved to 14-1 with a 58-30 win Thursday night against the Green Ridge Tigers.
Grene Ridge pushed California, ranked No. 7 in Class 3, early in the game. The Tigers led 10-7 after one quarter before the Pintos came back to take a 25-21 lead at the half.
California pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring Green Ridge 18-2 to take a 43-23 lead into the final period.
Landon Mouse paced California with 15 points. Jaden Barr and Dylan Norton chipped in with 11 each.
California will host Hallsville tonight.
