ST. JAMES, Mo. - The Blair Oaks Falcons dropped a 73-50 decision Friday to Licking in the semifinals of the St. James Tournament.
Licking jumped out to a 23-13 lead after one quarter and took a 40-31 advantage into halftime. Licking then outscored Blair Oaks 21-12 in the third quarter to take a 61-43 advantage into the final period.
Kory Franks finished with 14 points to lead Blair Oaks, while Cody Alexander chipped in with 12.
Blair Oaks (11-4) will face Salem in the third-place game at 6:30 p.m. today.
