RUSSELLVILLE - The St. Elizabeth Lady Hornets controlled the second half and roared back from a double-digit deficit to beat Russellville 52-51 on Monday night.
Russellville led 23-10 after one quarter and 32-20 at halftime. But St. Elizabeth had an 11-5 scoring edge in the third to cut the lead to 37-31, then outscored Russellville 21-14 in the fourth quarter.
Justice Miller dropped in a game-high 26 points for Russellville and teammate Haley Windsor added 11.
Brooke Struemph pumped in 23 points to pace St. Elizabeth.
Russellville (3-12) will play Thursday at Crocker.
