CALIFORNIA, Mo. - Fatima had the ball with a chance to score at the end of regulation but didn't get a shot off and fell in overtime to Fulton, 64-63. The game was the third-place contest in the California Tournament.
Fulton led 16-12 after one quarter, but the Comets brought a 31-29 lead into halftime. Fatima led 44-43 after the third quarter, but Fulton outscored the Comets by one in the fourth to force overtime at 54.
Will Robertson led Fatima with 18 points. James Rakestraw scored 14, Nolan Huot had 12, and Ross Dickneite had 11.
Fatima (10-3) plays Iberia in Columbia today at the MFA Shootout.
