Two suspects are in custody after the Jefferson City Police Department and MUSTANG Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on Southridge Drive.
According to a release, the warrant for 2305 Southridge Drive was executed Friday, resulting in two arrests and the seizure of 10 ounces of cocaine, two ounces of crack cocaine, one ounce of heroin, drug money and other items associated with the distribution of controlled substance.
Neither suspect was named in the release, though it noted one had "a long history of drug trafficking." Both suspects are being held at the Cole County Jail and officers are asking the prosecutor to file charges for first-degree drug trafficking and felony possession of controlled substances.
