3 injured in Miller County crash; man arrested for DWI in Osage County

Three people were injured in a one-vehicle accident at 6:40 p.m. Monday on Saline Valley Road east of Central Hill Road in Miller County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, a 1996 Honda Civic, driven southbound by Johnathon M. Lore, 20, Lake St. Louis, lost control, went off the right side of the road and overturned.

Lore was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City. Two passengers, McKenzie R. Piearce, 16, Eldon, and Niamh A. Ratcliff, 14, Eldon, were taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt.

• A House Springs man was arrested after a one-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in Osage County.

Patrol reports show Brian Jackson, 38, is facing charges of DWI-prior offender, careless and imprudent driving, no insurance and not wearing a seat belt.

The accident occurred on U.S. 50, just west of County Road 400A, around 12:25 p.m.

Jackson went off the right side of the road, colliding with the ground.

His vehicle overturned and collided with a tree.

Jackson was not wearing a seat belt and was taken to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries.
