Brad L. Roark, 36, Cole County, died in a single-vehicle wreck early Tuesday morning in the 1900 block of Missouri Boulevard.
The Jefferson City Police Department said he was westbound at about 1 a.m. when his Ford F-150 truck went off the road and struck a tree, causing significant damage to the driver's side door. The JCPD traffic unit is reconstructing the crash and trying to determine possible causes.
When police arrived at the scene, Roark was not wearing a seat belt and was not responsive. Jefferson City Fire Department and Cole County EMS assisted, and Roark was later pronounced dead.
