Local man gets probation for drugs

A Jefferson City resident was placed on five years supervised probation for pleading guilty to charges in connection with a drug raid that occurred last May.

Richard Howard Martin, 57, was charged with two counts of distribution of a controlled substance.

Martin was one of 19 suspects arrested for distribution of controlled substances, including heroin, methamphetamine, crack cocaine, cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, ecstasy, and marijuana, along with other narcotics-related crimes.
