Mackenzie Struemph set career highs with 22 points and 13 rebounds as St. Elizabeth finished its regular season with a 64-58 defeat of Calvary Lutheran on Saturday.
It was Struemph's second double-double. Brooke Struemph also scored 22 for St. Elizabeth and had six rebounds.
The teams were tied at 16 after a quarter. The Lady Hornets led 34-24 at half and 45-38 after three quarters.
Becca Thompson led Calvary with 24 points and had five steals. Maci Steen had 11 points, and Brooke Rollins had 10 points, four rebounds and five steals.
Calvary (8-16) begins district tournament play at 8:30 Monday in Russellville against Iberia. St. Elizabeth (9-14) also begins district tourney play Monday, playing at 7 p.m. at Jamestown.
