WARDSVILLE - California outscored Blair Oaks 37-24 during the final three quarters to rally for a 47-36 win Thursday night.
Blair Oaks led 12-10 after one quarter, but California took a 19-15 edge into halftime. The Lady Pintos' lead was 33-28 after three quarters.
Elizabeth Lutz scored a game-high 12 points for the Lady Pintos (13-10 overall, 4-3 Tri-County Conference). Kayla Allison added 11 and Kelsey Roush had 10.
Robin Schroeder and Lauren Viessman had eight points apiece to lead the Lady Falcons.
California, which won the JV game 43-25, will open Class 3 District 8 play at South Callaway on Monday against Father Tolton. The fourth-seeded Lady Pintos will meet the fifth-seeded Lady Blazers at 5:30 p.m.
