Dear Editor:
Our dear governor wants to turn I-70 into a toll road. Well he has forgotten the cost of turning it into a toll road.
First there's the cost of construction of the toll booths. Then you have to allow for one pass drivers. Next hiring and training toll booth workers and don't forget supervisors for them, area managers, plus a state agency to oversee the whole operations. All those people have to get salaries and more and more.
By the time it's all said and done the cost of that toll road will be more then it will bring in. And who is going to pay for all that, taxpayers?
Again, the people of Missouri will lose out.
