Men's Basketball: Westminster wins against Eureka

EUREKA, Ill. - The Westminster men's basketball team improved to 5-17 on the season with a 54-50 win against Eureka College on Saturday.

The Blue Jays improved to 4-11 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, while Eureka fell to 10-11 overall and 8-7 in the SLIAC.

Tanner Gentges (Fatima High School) tied for the Westminster lead with five rebounds, and he also had seven points, three assists and one steal.

Brandon Moore (Blair Oaks High School) had seven points and four rebounds for the Blue Jays and Kellen Brondel (Blair Oaks High School) had one point.

The Blue Jays are scheduled to host a makeup game with Iowa Wesleyan today.
