COLUMBIA, Mo. - The 12th-ranked Columbia College men's basketball team won its third consecutive game Saturday, defeating American Midwest Conference foe St. Louis College of Pharmacy 98-52.
Zach Rockers (Helias High School) led the Cougars with 19 points.
Columbia built a double-digit lead early in the first half when Rockers knocked down a short jumper to go up 17-7 at the 12:23 mark. Columbia would maintain the lead over the remainder of the half and take a 49-31 advantage into the locker room at halftime.
The Cougars outrebounded the Eutectics 18-8 in the opening period, while shooting 70 percent from the field. Rockers recorded 15 first-half points.
Columbia (22-4, 15-3) plays at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Park University.
