Capital Mall's C.J. Banks and Christopher & Banks stores merged Jan. 30, combining the two national women's clothing retailers in coordination with about 200 others owned by Christopher & Banks Corporation nationwide.
The merger allows the store in Jefferson City to offer women's clothing in all sizes - including missy, petite and women's sizes from 4 to 24 - in one location. Previously, C.J. Banks stores sold clothing in plus sizes while Christopher & Banks stores offered options in all other sizes.
The inventory of the mall's C.J. Banks store was moved from its previous location in the JCPenney wing to the Christopher & Banks store in the Dillard's wing.
