ELDON, Mo. - Sara Rhine scored 51 points Thursday night to lead the Eldon Lady Mustangs to a 104-87 victory against the California Lady Pintos in a Tri-County Conference matchup.
Rhine's 51 points broke the school record of 45 she established earlier this season at Mexico. The senior has signed to play basketball at Drake next season.
The 104 points are also a school record for a single game for Eldon.
The Lady Mustangs led 33-20 after one quarter and 61-44 at the half. The scoring slowed a little bit in the third quarter, which ended with Eldon holding a 76-57 advantage.
Taylor Pehle added 25 points for Eldon (16-4 overall, 3-0 conference)
Elizabeth Lutz finished with 35 points to lead California. Kelsey Roush added 14.
California (11-9, 2-2) is back in action Monday at Versailles.
