SMITHTON, Mo. - A balanced scoring attack wasn't quite enough Thursday night for Tipton as the Cardinals dropped a 72-64 decision to the Smithton Tigers.
Dylan Cooper led four Cardinals in double figures with 21 points. Aaron Ragen added 13, while Bryce Sanders totaled 12 and Grant Huhmann chipped in with 10.
Smithton, which also had four players in double figures, led 15-14 after one quarter and 36-35 at the half. The Tigers took a 52-50 advantage into the final period.
