The Jays Kids Wrestling Club took part in two competitions Saturday.
Here are the results from the wrestlers who competed in Rolla:
• First place: Tanner Quick and William Berendzen.
• Second place: Demarkus Lyddon-Allen, Whit Nichols, Hurley Jacobs Jr., Omer Ballinger, Cameron McKee, Erick Richardson and Joseph Schaefer.
• Third place: Quincy Frye, Jesse Bilyeu and Kenny Richardson.
• Fourth place: Ted Krause.
A group of first-year wrestlers competed at the Rookie State Tournament in Sedalia. Here are the results:
• First place: Zacchaeus Silva.
• Second place: William Carrol, Deegan Mitchell, Gabe Zimmerman and Lucas McMahan.
• Third place: Lukas Dolph.
• Fifth place: Patrick Morrow.
The Jays host the Casey J. Luebbert Memorial Tournament at 9 a.m. Saturday. The Jays also host a novice wrestling tournament at 10 a.m. Sunday.
