Midwest Title & Escrow began work last Monday at its new Jefferson City location at 2316 St. Mary's Blvd.
The local title insurance and escrow closing company moved from 2418 Hyde Park Road to share a building with RE/MAX Jefferson City, which operates in the building's upper level.
"A large percentage of our customer base are RE/MAX agents, so it's nice to be so handy for them," said Anna Ewers, Midwest Title manager. "If your customers are asking you to move to another location where they can get to you quicker, how do you say no?"
The space became available when Continental Title, which used to operate there, closed. Midwest Title & Escrow added new positions at that time, hiring some former Continental staff.
"We added three new people to staff and just outgrew our former space," Ewers said.
