ROLLA, Mo. - Lindsey Steinbeck and Allie Aschcraft combined on a two-hitter Thursday as the Helias Lady Crusaders blanked the Rolla Lady Bulldogs 10-0 in five innings.
Steinbeck got the win, working the first three innings. She allowed the two hits, while recording three strikeouts. Ashcraft pitched the final two frames, striking out one.
Lauren Morrow had three hits and scored three times for Helias. Jordyn Nappier and Hailey Kempker added two hits each. Nappier totaled three RBI.
Helias (2-0) will play at the Battle Tournament today and Saturday.
In Thursday's JV game, Helias was a 6-4 winner. Grace Bradley struck out three in getting the win. Sophia Carr had two hits and three RBI for Helias (1-0-1).
