OWENSVILLE, Mo. - Lyndsi Vaughan tossed five innings of four-hit ball and went 4-for-5 at the plate with a two-run home run to lead Linn to a 12-5 win Thursday against Owensville.
Vaughn gave up two earned runs and struck out six. Sammi Frank finished the game in the circle with two innings of work and three earned runs.
Kirsten Steinbeck had a 3-for-5 performance at the plate with three RBI. Morgan Senevey went 3-for-4 with two RBI.
Linn JV won by a score of 10-3. They are 2-0.
Linn (2-0) travels to Vienna today.
