Lady Jays tennis posts 9-0 win against Rolla

The Jefferson City Lady Jays dropped just six games in six singles matches Tuesday afternoon and rolled to a 9-0 win against the Rolla Lady Bulldogs at Washington Park.

Singles winners included: Athira Nambiar (6-0, 6-2); Erica Dunn (6-0, 6-2); Esther Ruboneka (6-0, 6-0); Susan Meyer (6-1, 6-0); Bailey Patrick (6-0, 6-1); and Haley Watson (6-0, 6-0).

Doubles winners for the Lady Jays were Nambiar and Meyer (8-4), Dunn and Ruboneka (8-2) and Patrick and Watson (8-0).

Jefferson City (3-1) is scheduled to return to action Thursday in Springfield against Kickapoo.
