Your Opinion: Response to Gibson on Planned Parenthood

Dear Editor:

I really do try and stay out of other people's bedrooms and definitely away from discussing lady parts. But Sue Gibson's defense of Planned Parenthood and the harvest of babies' body parts for sale is reprehensible! Yes, abortion is the law of the land, but to defend this body harvesting is disgusting.

The videos of the Planned Parenthood doctors haggling over the price of an intact baby's skull is appalling. It's just non-viable tissue in the womb but if you can "harvest" it without damage it's a body part for sale. So, is it a baby or not?

Gibson says "Planned Parenthood affiliates in Missouri do not even participate in fetal tissue donation programs." And she knows this how? As I type, the state of Missouri is investigating that very thing so we'll find out. Nevertheless, the very defense of this practice of killing children for body parts is just a touch over the top for me.

There is little doubt that the main job of Planned Parenthood (pun intended) is not a woman's health but it's about abortions. News flash, being pregnant is not an illness. They try to hide it, but the facts are there; it's just what they do. There are clinics, state, city, and county for women to go to for their health. Planned Parenthood = abortion.

People travel all over the globe to adopt children. We in the U.S.A. kill them by the thousands.

Kill your children if you must; it's legal, just don't use my tax dollars to do it. I guess I could just look at it as a Darwin thing, a thinning of the herd, but my moral compass just tends to point towards saving a child.
