HANNIBAL, Mo. - The Jefferson rolled to a 9-0 win against Hannibal 9-0 in tennis action Wednesday.
Singles winners for Jays were David Clausen (6-1, 6-1), David Steinmeyer (6-0, 6-2), Spencer Bone (6-0, 6-0), Dane Biesemeyer (6-1, 6-0), Joey Mendez (6-0, 6-0) and Karsten McMillan (6-2, 6-3).
Doubles winners for the Jays were Clausen and Bone (6-1, 6-0), Steinmeyer and Biesemeyer (6-1, 6-0), and Mendez and McMillan (6-1, 6-0).
The Jays swept the JV 13-0.
On Tuesday, the Jays' JV beat the Battle varsity 6-0.
Singles winners for the Jays were Kader Fees (6-1, 7-5), Ethan Lesko (6-2, 6-0), Jacob Ruboneka (6-0, 6-1), and Joe Willoh (6-0, 6-0).
Doubles winners for the Jays were Josh Jay and Kyle Highfill (8-2) and Jackson Meyer and Josh Sabala (8-3).
