CORALVILLE, Iowa - Four Gym-Zzouri Gymnastics members recently competed in the USA Gymnastics Xcel Region 4 Championships.
The meet was hosted by Iowa Gym Nest and involved gymnasts from North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and Missouri. These girls won the following awards:
• Xcel Platinum, Sr. 6 Division - Raven Bridges: seconnd on vault with a score of 9.2, sixth on beam with a score of 8.3, 11th on floor with a score of 8.7 and 10th all around (34.025).
• Xcel Gold, Sr. 2 Division - Betsy Morello: sixth on beam with a score of 9.025 and 15th all around (34.575).
• Xcel Gold, Sr. 5 Division - Tessa Uhlman: seventh on bars with a score of 9.3, fifth on beam with a score of 9.15 and 10th all around (35.90).
• Xcel Gold, Sr. 6 Division - Stephanie Miller: sixth on beam with a score of 9.05 and 13th all around (34.775).
