BOSTON - Gerald Holtmeyer of Bonnots Mill and Nathan Redcay of Jefferson City both competed Monday in the Boston Marathon.
Holtmeyer, age 55, was 1,648th overall with a time of 2:55.35, an average of 6:42 per mile. He finished 1,560th among males and 10th in his age division.
Redcay, age 35, crossed the finish line with a time of 3:25.4, a pace of 7:51 per mile, and finished 8,697th. He was the 6,956th finisher among male runners in the event and 3,405th in his age division.
Scott MacPherson of Columbia was the top finisher from Missouri. The 28-year-old was 19th with a time of 2:20.25.
