The Missouri River bridges at Jefferson City will get a routine spring cleaning Tuesday.
The work will require the adjacent pedestrian bridge and one lane in each direction to be closed.
The work is weather dependent so, if weather conditions don't prevent it, Transportation department crews will flush the eastbound and westbound lanes of the bridge between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday.
