WARRENSBURG - Four area athletes posted top-eight results in the Mule Relays hosted by the University of Central Missouri on Friday.
On the women's side, William Woods' Grace Young (Russellville High School) won the 5,000-meter run (18:38.53), Southwest Baptist's Emily Cumpton (Blair Oaks High School) was fifth in the 5,000-meter run (19:00.98) and William Woods' Madelyn Scrivner (Eldon High School) was eighth in the shot put (38-11 1/2).
Competing unattached on the men's side, Dan Raithel (Blair Oaks High School) won the hammer throw (221-5).
