HARTSBURG - Tanner Elder of Blair Oaks captured medalist honors Wednesday at the Eighth Annual Southern Boone Classic played at Eagle Knoll Golf Club.
Elder shot a two-over-par 74 to claim top honors.
The Falcons finished third in the team standings with a 345. Mexico won the 16-team event with a 324, while Southern Boone was second with a 344.
Kory Franks added an 82 for Blair Oaks, while Braden Pemberton shot a 92 and Jake VanRonzlen had a 97.
Walker Kesterson of Southern Boone was second overall with a 76. Tanner Sherman added an 83 for the Eagles, while Alex Zagorac totaled a 92 and Brayden Watts finished with a 93.
California was fourth with a 366. Kade McAdams led the Pintos with an 86. Dylan Kramel added an 88, while Kale McAdams had a 93 and Liam Schatzer had a 99.
South Callaway was sixth as a team with a 372. Logan Taylor shot an 83 for the Bulldogs, while Blake Parker added an 89. Braeden Sconce finished with a 94, while Luke Horstman totaled a 106.
School of the Osage was seventh with a 379. Michael Crosby had an 84 to lead the Indians. Riley Vanderveld added a 95, while Austin Riley had a 96 and Jacob Krantz carded a 104.
Fatima was eighth as a team, finishing with a 380. Carson Kramer and Austin Eisterhold both shot 90 for the Comets. Kyle Hudspeth had a 94, while Casey Breese carded a 106.
New Bloomfield was ninth with a 381. Gannon Withers paced the Wildcats with an 82, while Tyler Grace carded an 87. Derek Shikles finished with a 105, while Ridge Martin totaled a 107.
Russellville was 13th with a 454. Coy Bond shot a 93 to lead the Indians. Cody Willingham added a 108, while Austin Garrison had a 117 and David Sheldon a 136.
Linn was 14th, totaling a 476. Cade Pinkerton led the Wildcats with an 89. Kyle Mantle added a 119, with Zeb Neuner had a 126 and Brenden Bischoff finished at 142.
Versailles had two players - Travis Reger carded an 86 while Payton Cable totaled a 132.
