COLUMBIA - The Helias tennis team dropped a match with Hickman on Monday, losing 8-1. Tristan Grawe had the lone victory for the Crusaders, winning 9-7 at the No. 6 singles spot.
T.J. Hagenhoff dropped the first singles match 8-0, Klint Braun fell in No. 2 singles 8-1, Ryan Pollock lost in No. 3 singles play 1-8, Dylan Grawe fell 8-0 in the fourth singles match, and Dalton Buschjost lost the fifth singles match 8-2.
Hagenhoff and Pollock lost 8-0 in the first doubles match, as did Braun and Buschjost in the second doubles match. Dylan Grawe and Tristan Grawe fell 8-2 in the No. 3 doubles match.
The Crusaders were outdone in JV doubles play as well, falling 6-1.
Logan Shaffer and Jordan Roling had the lone win with a 6-3 victory.
Helias (2-2) hosts Mexico on Thursday.
