BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. - The Jefferson City Lady Jays finished 1-3 in action Saturday at the Blue Springs South Tournament.
Jefferson City opened with a 16-25, 13-25 loss to Cor Jesu Academy. Chelsey Klosterman had seven diggs.
The Lady Jays then fell 17-25, 16-25 to St. James Academy. Mary Wehmeyer totaled eight kills and five blocks.
Jefferson City picked up an 18-25, 25-18, 25-23 victory against Blue Springs. Mary Vandelicht totaled nine digs and Cara Caba added seven. Wehmeyer finished with 13 kills.
The Lady Jays fell to Kickapoo 14-25, 22-25, Maggie Albert finished with 13 assists and seven digs, while Wehmeyer had five blocks.
