Helias volleyball stays perfect with win against Rock Bridge

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Helias volleyball program is still perfect.

The Lady Crusaders claimed a 25-21, 25-20 win Thursday against Rock Bridge while improving to 19-0 on the season.

Ashley Dudenhoeffer tallied 22 assists, seven service points and five digs, while Laura Schieber finished with eight kills, five service points and two blocks.

Erica Haslag had six kills and two blocks, while Blake Berhorst had five service points and nine digs for Helias.

The Lady Crusaders return to action Saturday at the Carl Junction Tournament.

In the junior varsity matcj, Helias rolled to a 25-16, 25-8 win while improving its record to 20-0.

Abby Shepard recorded 20 service points and four kills, while Lexy Lamb added eight assists. Lauren Vanderfeltz finished with eight digs and Erin Wyrick chipped in with five kills.

In the freshman match, Helias claimed a 25-13, 25-19 win while improving its record to 17-0.

Grace Twehous had nine service points and four kills, while Elisabeth Mealy finished with 15 digs. Amie Henson had seven assists and Morgan Miles added 5 kills.
