FULTON - The William Woods Owls won a pair of home matches during the weekend, taking down Williams Baptist on Friday and Lyon on Saturday.
On Friday, William Woods carved out a 25-17, 25-19, 25-23 win.
Abbi McKnelly (Jefferson City High School) of the Owls tied for the team high with 10 kills and also added three digs. Brittney Engelbrecht (Helias High School) paced William Woods with a match-high 33 assists and was second in the match with 12 digs. She also had three kills.
On Saturday, the Owls posted a 25-18, 25-9, 25-21 win.
Engelbrecht had 23 assists, six digs, one block and two kills. McKnelly had five kills and four digs.
William Woods is now 10-8 overall and 2-0 in the American Midwest Conference.
