EUGENE, Mo. - The Lady Eagles defeated New Bloomfield behind two RBI from Lexi Dickerson. Andrea Blochberger led Eugene with two hits.
Dickerson was also the winning pitcher, throwing seven innings and allowing six hits. She struck out nine.
Alison Buechter, Tavia Matthews, Ashton Bernskoetter, Nola Polly and Tori Adrian all tallied a hit.
The junior varsity Lady Eagles won as well, shutting out New Bloomfield 6-0.
Ally Puckett had two doubles, and Rachael Surface and Blochberger each stole a base. Taylor Hogard pitched five innings of two-hit ball in a winning effort.
