The Jefferson City High School freshman football team fell at home against DeSmet on Monday. Sophomores combined with the freshman team in the 19-12 loss.
Tyler Bice scored rushing touchdowns of 2 and 4 yards.
Ben Johnson and Kane Carpenter had fumble recoveries. Mark Shannon, Nick Williams, Dan Johnson and Anthony Johnson had a sack each.
The freshman team (1-2) plays next Thursday at Camdenton.
