The third annual Christian Business Expo will be held from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday at Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City.
The event, sponsored by Christian Television Network and KNLJ-TV, features free admission and giveaways, including a year's worth of Central Dairy ice cream.
More than 40 area vendors will sell everything from books to hot dogs to custom cookies and jewelry, said Vickie Davenport, KNLJ's general manager.
She said the goal is to have people support these businesses, some of which are home-based. "If we have a choice to buy something locally, obviously we should," she said. "And you're supporting friends and family. These are people you may know personally, but not know you're putting their kids through high school or college."
