RUSSELLVILLE - Adrianna Basnett hit a walk-off double and earned the win in the circle as the Russellville Lady Indians rolled to a 13-3 win in six innings Tuesday against Vienna in their home opener.
Basnett was 3-for-4, including a three-run double in the bottom of the sixth to end the game early.
In the circle, Basnett allowed three runs on four hits, while striking out three and walking three in six innings.
McKendra Ficher was 3-for-4 with an RBI, while Libby Mueller added two hits and two RBI. Kailey Stanley chipped in with two hits and scored three runs to help lead the offensive attack for Russellville.
The Lady Indians (2-3) play Thursday at New Bloomfield.
