The William Woods volleyball team went 2-1 in action over the weekend.
The Owls swept Robert Morris on Saturday in Arlington Heights, Ill., posting a 25-17, 25-23, 32-30 win.
Brittney Engelbrecht (Helias High School) led the Owls with 39 assists. She also had seven digs.
Abbi McKnelly (Jefferson City High School) had six kills and one ace for William Woods.
On Friday, the Owls split two matches in Elgin, Ill., falling to Clark College in three sets - 25-19, 25-18, 25-20 - and defeating Judson in four - 25-15, 25-21, 18-25, 25-16.
Against Clark, Englebrecht led with 32 saves and also had five digs. McKnelly had five kills and four digs.
Englebrecht also led the Owls in assists against Judson, with 39. She had six kills and five digs as well. McKnelly had 10 kills to go with one assist and six digs.
