CUBA, Mo. - The Vienna Lady Eagles saw their season come to a close with a 9-1 loss to Iberia in Saturday's semifinals of the Class 2 District 5 Tournament.
The fourth-seeded Lady Eagles managed just three hits against the top-seeded Lady Rangers and Jordan Lawson, who struck out 10 while walking none.
Maddie Stricklan took the loss for Iberia, giving up five earned runs on eight hits. She struck out three and walked six.
Vienna ends the season with a record of 13-8.
