WARSAW - The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons took care of Warsaw 18-0 in five innings Monday behind nine strikeouts from Payton Staggs.
Staggs, the winning pitcher, allowed one hit and no walks.
Macyn Wilbers had five hits and five RBI. Mackinnley Hamacher had three hits and three RBI. Lauren Viessman had three hits and scored two runs, and Ashley Forck and Jolie Duffer each had two hits and three RBI. Staggs had two hits and an RBI.
Today's scheduled game between Blair Oaks (19-5) and Eugene has been called off.
In Monday's JV game, Blair Oaks topped Warsaw 9-1. Meredith Eisterhold was the winning pitcher in the circle and went 2-of-2 with two singles and five RBI at the plate. Megan Mitchem went 3-for-3 with two doubles and a triple. Macey Stockman had three RBI on 2-for-2 hitting. Torie Thurston went 2-for-3 with a double and four RBI.
The junior varsity ends its season with a 14-2 record.
