ST. LOUIS - The Jefferson City Jays blanked Hononegah of Rockton, Ill., 3-0 in a loser's bracket game Friday in the Gateway Soccer Classic.
Spencer Bone, Logan Horn and Alex Menzies scored for the Jays. Eric Sporleder and Bone picked up assists.
Zach Brooks got the shutout in goal for the Jays, their 10th blanking of the season.
Jefferson City (10-3), which lost to criteria to Fort Zumwalt South in a shortened game Thursday, will play for fifth-place in its bracket at noon today. The game will be played at Northwest: Cedar Hill.
